Maybe you don't need a kickass first line. Good to hear since I'm not good at first lines. I keep working and working at them, but the hooks elude me.
Heroes and Heartbreakers has a post on romances based on Astrology. Pretty cool! One of my plot bunnies features an astrologer heroine (based on Susan Miller of Astrology Zone fame) so I'm interested to see if this trend has legs.
